Last Saturday, the Florian Republic's leader Edwin announced their withdrawal from Eastern Keltia to the MCS (Micronational Cartographic Society). The country had an overseas territory named Badawei-Nandao since June 2018, as a result of a land trade with Jingdao that left the Florian Republic without access to the sea in Apollonia. Earlier today, the claim made by the Florians to the MCS has been accepted.

Badawei-Nandao comprised the southern end of Hinisne and all the nearby islands but Anterra, which was at the time owned by Caputia and Passio-Corum (the Bassarid Empire).

Since the Florians took charge of Badawei-Nandao, no visible development had been made. The distance to the territory and its inaccessibility can explain this. Furthermore, those factors were mentioned as the reasons why the Florians decided to renounce their sovereignty over the territory.

Floria's withdrawal is of interest to the nascent State of Sevetia, since the remaining foreign-ruled piece of land in Hinisne has been vacated. This leaves room for the complete control of Hinisne and the islands closest to it, as the country's founders envisioned.
