Constitution of the State of Sevetia

We, the Sevetian People, become a Nation, through the Constitutional Assembly that represent us, with the mission of governing our own destiny in a free, sovereign country where we can prosper according to our cultural values and principles, and live in peace and harmony with all the other peoples of the world that recognise our right to exist, establish the Constitution of the State of Sevetia.


ARTICLE 1

The only State for the Sevetian People shall have as official name "State of Sevetia", and as unofficial name "Sevetia".
The Sevetian People shall not be represented by another State or national entity.

ARTICLE 2

The State of Sevetia shall be run by the Sevetian People and for the Sevetian People and for anyone who desires to live in Sevetian soil in accordance with the Sevetian values and cultural principles.
All government actions shall be executed by legitimate representatives of the Sevetian People.

ARTICLE 3

The State of Sevetia shall adopt the republican form of government, with separation of powers.
The establishment of the government bodies of each power shall be determined by the Sevetian People's Assembly.

ARTICLE 4

The State of Sevetia shall exist as long as there is at least one member of the Sevetian People living in Sevetian soil.

ARTICLE 5

The State of Sevetia shall adopt symbols to represent it before the other states and nations of the world. Such symbols shall reflect the identity of the Sevetian People.

ARTICLE 6

All the inhabitants of the State of Sevetia shall enjoy the following fundamental rights and liberties:
a. the right to exist;
b. the right to carry out a personal life project;
c. the freedom of thought;
d. the freedom of expression;
e. the freedom of religion;
f. the freedom of association;
g. the right to freely transit the Sevetian territory;
h. the right to own and hold property;
i. the right to petition the authorities of the State;
j. the right to work and perform legal economic activities;
k. the right to acquire and renounce Sevetian nationality;
l. the right to receive protection and fair treatment from the State.
The State of Sevetia shall always guarantee respect of the rights and liberties above mentioned. By their part, all inhabitants of the State of Sevetia accept to be subject to this Constitution and the Sevetian laws.

ARTICLE 7

Slavery is forbidden in the State of Sevetia.

ARTICLE 8

All the inhabitants of the State of Sevetia are equal before the law. No inhabitant of the State of Sevetia, no group of people, and no organisation of any sort shall enjoy any sort of privilege. No inhabitant of the State of Sevetia shall be discriminated by any reason.
Titles of nobility are forbidden in the territory of the State of Sevetia.

ARTICLE 9

It is a duty of all the inhabitants of the State of Sevetia to contribute to the existence and preservation of the People and the State of Sevetia, through ways that respect this Constitution and the Sevetian laws.
All the inhabitants of the State of Sevetia shall pledge to be loyal, to protect and to obey the Sevetian People, the State of Sevetia, and this Constitution.

ARTICLE 10

All the inhabitants of the State of Sevetia who are able and fit to contribute to the development and the maintenance of the Sevetian Nation shall have the right to become citizens of the State of Sevetia.
All citizens of the State of Sevetia are responsible for contributing to the existence and preservation of the People and the State of Sevetia.

ARTICLE 11

The sole mission of the representatives of the Sevetian People shall be that of securing the existence and preservation of the People and the State of Sevetia, prioritising the interest of the Sevetian People, promoting harmony among the members of the Sevetian People, and always acting in accordance with the desire or the approval of the Sevetian People.

ARTICLE 12

This Constitution is the fundamental law of the State of Sevetia. Any law, rule, decree, international treaty or piece of legislation applied or to be applied in Sevetian territory shall not contradict this Constitution in order to be legal and valid.

ARTICLE 13

The Sevetian language shall be the only official language of the State of Sevetia.
Teaching of Sevetian language shall be compulsory for all Sevetian nationals, and an indispensable requisite to obtain Sevetian citizenship.

ARTICLE 14

Armed forces shall be established for the defence of the Sevetian territory and for the response to aggresion from agents outside the Sevetian People.
The armed forces of the State of Sevetia shall defend the Sevetian People, and shall not be used against it.

ARTICLE 15

This Constitution is inspired in the values and the national will of the Sevetian People and therefore it shall not be amended, unless to add one or more articles which content is not incompatible or contradictory to the original text, or to clarify the content of one or more articles without altering their meaning.
Any amendment to this Constitution shall require the call for a special assembly of experts in Sevetian law and culture.

ARTICLE 16

There shall be no place within Sevetian territory where this Constitution is not valid. As long as the State of Sevetian exists, the validity of this Constitution shall not be suspended or terminated by any individual, group of individuals, or organisation of any sort.
